It's quite an interesting lens, BTW.  A 2:1 macro
 The wanting of a second Tamron was of course a joke, however here in France on a S/H site "le bon coin" every now and then up pops a Nikon 600mm F4 VR, this time at 4,000€  "à débattre", I thinking of selling my Pentax gear and taking the plunge, but there's no immediate hurry!

 

 Yes the Venus's  2:1 macro facility puts it in a special league, but using LV will save it's bacon IMHO.
