I believe it can do SA as well as EF mount lenses.

 

So:

• Sigma SD body + sigma lenses for more considered work
  
• sony body + adaptor + same sigma lenses for more dynamic / low light work
  

 

Of course other interesting combinations would be possible:

• Canon crop DSLR + sigma ef lenses for sports
  
• Sony A7 + adapter + same ef mount sigma lenses for low light, slower moving subjects
