Because you can have stabilization with any lens. For many years I've been buying lenses when one of the prime advantages I looked for was stabilization. If you have SSS (or something alike <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />) you can always have it.
