And I thought my Fuji 18mm f2 was soft in the corners.
The corners mainly are "pulled apart" by astigmatism/coma (can't yet really tell what is what) and CA. Once you correct the CA they are not that soft.

Your Fuji is a 28mm f3 FF equivalent....
