I'm a bit lost here, as to what is supposed to be the topic please? D7000 performance or DSLR's handling of RAWs? Don't we all tweak and postprocess most of our RAWs ?
Very true. Interesting to note though that some hardened fanboys beat the non-issue of illegitimate RAW "tweaking" by Nikon to death. Even when viewing the dpreview test shots at 100% (the pixel peepers perspective) up to say ISO 1600 the differences between a 7D RAW and a D7000 NEF are negligible. So we have two great cams achieving great and virtually identical results, but only one does it the honest way whereas the other one does it by cheating. That´s a pretty weird concept to put it mildly.
