So, about the same size as a A7 III, but with the view finder chopped off and a tiny small viewfinder put in right at the edge for odd handling, a slippery and uncomfortable un-grippy grip in place of the A7 III's grip (only less deep, does not really make the camera smaller), losing the front dial and the custom settings buttons, and the AF point select joystick.
What did it gain? A swivel screen. Not the improved menu system of the A7S III, it keeps the older menu system of the A7 III. But it does get the improved AF from the A7S III and A7R IV.
Not really meaningfully smaller, just less nice to handle.
