In the link above, Panasonic says the MSRP is $1099. That is quite a bit higher than the Nikkor ($799 at introduction, Nikon's price now (Nikon USA) at $699), the Canon (85mm f2 macro, $599) and Sony ($600)...
Oh wait, now I see that it is the OZ website. That explains the high $ number
