FWIW, dpreview isn't all THAT impressed it seems. Quite pricey for what is.

Understatement of the year .......... $2,199 for a 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 ?????????

  ..... ridiculous !! .... are you paying for the rather over the top sun stars rendering at a rate of fifty dollars a star ????
