Well, yes, it is there (no surprise, it wasn't a secret
), but to add to the record: it is certainly not on the same level as what the Z cameras (or Sony A-series or Canon RF) can do. That was my whole point.
If you want to rely on it, you'll find it does not work properly with many subjects. Unlike eye-detect in most mirrorless cameras.
