I just checked the numbers - Tamron is now bigger than Sigma.
That's very surprising I'd say. Sigma used to be the biggest lens manufacturer on the planet.
Excluding other segments, their photo divisions are about the same size.
Tamron: 45B yen (total: 63B yean - ~$480M)
Sigma: 43B yen (~$330M)
Feels odd given the fact that Sigma's lineup is much bigger.
I suppose Tamron is much popular in the US.
