The A7R V is not a suitable base for comparison.
The A7C II, S5 II, R8 and Z6 II are all in a similar price bracket.
The size/weight argument is only true for very long teles. And with lenses such as the Canon 600/800mm f/11 even this is diminishing.
MFT lenses are small because they are slow (on an equivalent basis).
Or take an A6700/X-T5 with -say- a Tamron 150-500mm.
