My EF-Z adapter has a micro USB port with a protective rubber insert so flimsy that it would fall out if I looked at it funny. The first thing I did after seeing it (and unscrewing the tripod mount adapter) was applying two layers of (good) duct tape all around the adapter's body. Problem (seemingly) solved for the time being. =)
P.S. Would be really to see this lens tested here, to see how well this particular manufacturer was doing their homework.
