I am also not fully sure what to make from it.
The reviews are pretty positive of those which used it for some time are pretty positive on has to say. Nice to see that OM-System gets some positive headlines. It seems to be quite an inspiring camera. There are few things I am not so fond about:
The OM-3 is not particularly small, it seems larger than the genuine Olympus OM-1 from the 70ies. I think the large battery might be to blame. This can be seen in the pictures in e.g. the AP review: https://amateurphotographer.com/review/om-system-om-3-review/ What I am missing is the dial around the lens mount. To me the shutter dial around the lens mount was always the distinguishing feature of an OM-camera.
Overall it is a bit of premium camera. You pay for the design. If you like the design, it might be for you. I hope it does well.
