It's the only circular fisheye available for ASP-C (at least, as far as I know), so there is not much of a choice if you want to get all-sky images. The only question is: Is it worth the money?
I don't care about the AF at all. For night sky photography, I only use manual focus. It's easy - everything is at infinite distance anyway. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
