I thought "Nifty fifty" was used for pretty much any 50mm regular prime generically? Maybe leaning to lower cost versions but not specific to the Canon f/1.8.
Beyond the bigma, I've heard the 200-500 f/2.8 called the super bigma.
Personal names I've used include:
Piece of **** - Centon 500mm mirror.
Stuper-zoom - Tamron 18-270.
Stuper-tele - Canon 300mm f/2.8 non-IS with 2x extender on it. More generically may be applied to other long lenses with aperture greater than 100mm.
Pan-pan - "Panasonic Pancake" 20mm f/1.7.
