Yes, they do look remarkably similar, maybe the same manufacturer. Kipon is currently a lot more expensive though, as Fotodiox have slashed their prices. Think I'll also buy their Canon EOS to NEX E adapter, which has a built-in tripod mount, so I can use my Sigma 17-35mm f/2.8-4 EX.
