You both and Klaus (not the green source) raise an interesting question. I will check tomorrow if the green paper roll is somewhat prominent on my left side, but I do not think so. I have like I stated above been shooting from the exact same spot with other lenses and not getting this result. The floor is this durable oilproduct which name escapes me (linoleum)in a cafe latte colour. She and the people I am shooting are standing on off white seamless paper from the wall. I used to shoot the pictures with four speedlights, but the recycle time and fragile connection of my ST-E2 forced me to start using Elinchrom strobes. These are weak ones (200 ws) but at their lowest they are so bright that I must shoot at F16 to get the person prominent enough, although I feel on behalf of sharpness... They suggested on the service shop that it was the angles of the strobes on the background that might cause the phenomenon. I will try to angle the differently and see if it still persists.
I love the lens besides this strange thing, and the worst case scenario is that I have to use different ones for studiowork (at least this studio).
