Tamron SP 70-200mm f2.8 Di VC USD review

The omission of VC for the Sony A mount is probably a marketing ploy from Sony itself (large stake holder in Tamron)... Indeed, it would be nicer if they had included it and let the user decide which IS to use.

But Sigma has nothing to do with Sony and yet they're following the same pattern after an initial period of sanity (from the user perspective, at least). Well, at least their 70-200 is stabilized even if the 17-50 isn't anymore.

But that's just me nitpicking; I'm a Canon user anyways and this lens looks real nice. If I hadn't owned a 70-200 already I might have been giving this lens a close look.
