Sorry, seems i clicked my mouse by accident during that last post so the text was all jumbled <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':blink:' />
It indeed looks like a nice macro lens... But not for me on APS-C. The 90-105mm class is not my favorite for macro on APS-C, I found out the hard way. I prefer wider (24-55mm or longer (200-300mm).
On FF this 90mm looks to be lovely, and if I in future get an FF camera, this lens may well be a nice replacement for my old Tamron 90mm.
