Tamron SP 70-200mm f2.8 Di VC USD review

It indeed looks like a nice macro lens... But not for me on APS-C. The 90-105mm class is not my favorite for macro on APS-C, I found out the hard way. I prefer wider (24-55mm or longer (200-300mm).

On FF this 90mm looks to be lovely, and if I in future get an FF camera, this lens may well be a nice replacement for my old Tamron 90mm.

Tamron 60mm f/2 macro looks very nice and it's somewhat futureproof as well because it works well on APS-H should you opt for a 1D Mark III or IV. I almost bought it but now that Tamron is updating its lenses I'd rather wait for a USD model.

And thanks a lot for the samples. They look great. Dunno how much they were PP'd later but apparently the photog behind the camera does his / her work very well.
