I've tried it,
I'm not quite sure why they change the layout, maybe because they had to change something that we could see, but I've notice that the program is now a bit slower when editing the image, but it is faster to get those import and process. I've also seen the new motor, at least in the task manger : C1 was already taking around 2 gig of memory, the new motor add around 400kb to that. So that's probably why it's a bit slower, but I didn't tried it after a reboot and only C1 running so my system was probably a bit overloaded. They made some nice change and some less nice. But in overall, I think it's a good upgrade. The noise reduction seem to work a bit better.
I've also tried DxO 8.
They now have a histogram and you can select R,G,B. The only problem is that it's just a display, you cannot adjust anything (apart from the saturation level in another adjustment tab). It been installed on my computer for about 20 minute.
Since some people says that CNx2 was faster that it was before I decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, I've already installed a trial version about 2 year ago, and the software keep telling me that I can't use the trial version because it's expired. I sent a email to nikon but so far i had no respond.![[Image: dry.gif]](http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
