Interesting discussion. I, too, was hoping for an E-Px.
I'm currently still using the GF1. It's not that I'm not keen to upgrade but I felt that the GX1, although seemingly a solid upgrade, didn't quite awe me that much ... admittedly in light of the E-M5 release. Compared to the E-M5, the GX1 seemed not quite to cut it, although some of it is personal (like, I've never thought the lens-based IS a smart move by Pana, certainly to do with the fact that my two favorite lenses are the Pana 20/1.7 and the Oly 45/1.8, and I really do like an EVF).
Then, when I heard that the GH3 was about to be released, I thought there might be an interesting camera, but although I like video, it's not that important for me that I would sacrifice THAT much in terms of portability.
So, I guess it's back to either a GX1 or an E-M5. Although I love my GF1 and probably would very much like the GX1, the IBIS and the EVF are likely to make the E-M5 and Olympus the winner this time around, also given that the E-M5 doesn't seem to come with a huge size penalty.
