I see no good business sense for Sony, Canon, Nikon to join m4/3 format. Oly/Pana already have a somewhat ok range .........
The NEX bodies has its charms, even if the lenses aren't really there yet......
The 1 I think is technologically the best mirrorless system right now ........
I'm still waiting to see what Canon does, but the big sensor compact is not a mirrorless system alternative.....
I think only smaller players or platform agnostic players have anything to gain from joining m4/3 at this stage. And even then, they're just fighting for the crumbs. A niche within a niche.

..... yes of course you have these points - but i was just thinking more players might make for more and better lenses in a competitive smaller system..... so the niche might become something more.....
- aps-c it seems to me has always needed aps-c size lenses - maybe sony can break the mould but so far i'm seeing big lenses being carried around the street sometimes with a nex on the back sometimes something else - no matter, looks much the same size to me - surely the body weight is not so very different......
- yes v1 seems good for focus and competence - just imagine how much better it would be as a phone too .... sorry, size joke...... and anyway i'm glad to see that thom is beginning to enjoy the darker picture now too....
- but yes, thinking further about it, it possibly is best for CNS to keep away, at least now there is a chance for others to have a go......so please disregard everything i've said.....don't read this CNS......it was a stupid idea, i'm a fool.....please everyone return to talking about the slightly larger matter of 500G's
