Yep, but this was shot with the D7000. To be fair, however: things have certainly improved since the D70. The image was shot in shutter priority mode at 1/30s. The aperture chosen by the camera is f/22, which simply reveals such dust spots, that remain mostly unnoticed otherwise (I usually shoot in the range up to f/9 only and have no issues here).
The camera has more than 43.000 actuations now and the sensor has never been cleaned so far. Try that with a D70... or D3x... or M9 <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Cloning out shouldn't be a problem.
