The ZA 16-80 and ZA 85 are not front heavy in my view. I don't know how others approach it but my left hand is supporting the setup from under the lens. As such I don't see any issues with comparatively short or light-weight lenses. I wouldn't use a 70-400 or 300/2.8 on it but then this doesn't make sense anyway. The 70-300G is still fine from my perspective.
