I tried this lens today during a local photo fair on 1D Mark II N, and was very impressed. It's very sharp in the center - almost too sharp according to the unwilling model <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> Despite being nominally APS-C it works on APS-H without excess vignetting. AF is very quiet but hunts sometimes due to lack of focus limiter. FTM is a great feature.
