D7000 high ISO performance

Hello Sekan,

I find those pic's amazingly sharp and without noise at ISO higher than 3200, but I cannot see any difference with the 300S (which I have) and which is just as good until 3200.

Actually, that's still an improvement... Because first of all, D7000 has a 16,2MP sensor with smaller pixels than D300s and it's not a "S" model (yet). OTOH, the delta compared to my D90 is huge. D90 gets noisier beginning with ISO 400. I believe that D7000 is a model between D90 and D300, but it's quite away from D90 and very near to D300. Thus, what will be the delta between possible future D300x and D7000 is a big question mark for me.

Kind regards,

Serkan
