calumet ist out of stock. They have closed the waitlist, because its gotten too long. The BErlin branch told me calumet got 10 5d Mark IIs for the whole of GErmany in 2010. He couldnt even say when he would get the next shipment.
Found a small retail store in Cologne (Foto Lambertin), though, whose manager claimed to have a good relation with the canon sales guy . He said he might get one or two bodies next week and will ship one, to me if he does.
What I find appaling is that if you call canon they say that there is no supply problem and that I should just go and buy the camera. This is like slapping the customer in the face.
