I remember watching this video and there they are talking of Canon turbulence removal technology for super tele lenses 
With RF 600 and 800mm being now available for everyone isn't it time they think of implementing it ?? or is just forgotten ?

I'm wondering if this is applied during post processing. I don't think this will happen in the body. And it needs a sequences of images, or a video, and then an algorithm calculates from the many pictures how the original is supposed to look.  It's done in Astronomy, a bunch of pictures are stacked. Free software Registax can do it,

but requires work, it's not automatic.
