Nice compact 50mm f1.8.

Especially in comparison to the Nikkor S 50mm f1.8 and Sony/Zeiss 55mm f1.8 lenses, which are priced and sized more like 50mm f1.4 lenses used to be.

Lets wait and see what the lens construction will be like. It looks like it will be the 1st prime that lacks a separate control ring (the 24-240mm zoom lens lacks a separate control ring too).
