Be interested to hear about it when you get it.
The condition of the one I got was "well used". Lots of paint missing around the tripod mount, and chips in paint elsewhere. A new 300mm f/2.8 IS I here is ~US$5800 (best street price) and the one I got was about 1/3 that. Even a Sigma is substantially more....
