Not with a wide angle lens (35mm f2 on APS-C), but 3 shots stitched together making it wide angle:

I was looking for an image and came across a couple of close up portraits I did when I had my Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6.

My sister and one of her daughters:

It is a very nice one, arv! And certainly wide enough.

I've tried to compile a little information on wide-angle macro, examined also what the Canon 18-55 IS and Sigma 17-70 macro are capable off.

See http://photonius.wikispaces.com/Close-up+%26+Macro , then scroll down to the section.

If I left off any interesting info, let me know.

A bed in the field.

D3x, Sigma 28/1.8. Even though it's (supposedly) inferior to the new AF-S 28, I had more fun in the field with the Sigma. It's simply so much fun to do close-ups with these WAs. The Sigma focuses a bit closer than the Nikkor. Not much in absolute terms (0.2m vs. 025m), but the difference is visible in the end result (or the viewfinder).

Sigma 35/1.4 @ f/2.2 and 0.3m distance. Good thing, to tune the lens with the USB-dock. But if the target hides behind blossom leaves... the shot's already cropped, here's original size

This one is APS-C, but 24/1.4 @ f/1.8:
