Not for the SLTs it seems
I guess Nex-7 and A77 share the same viewfinder (technology)... Very tempting...

NEX-7 + LA-EA2 = truly modular system? Tempting, pity it's so expensive <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Not so sure about it. The image on dpr with LA-EA2 and the large lens (85/1.4?) doesn't look too tempting. I can imagine that the lack of weight at the rear end makes the whole setup very unconvenient to hold.
DPR posted sample images which are based on a production unit of the A77. I don't know if the firmware is final and what potential was left out by choosing camera default settings for JPGs. However, the images posted almost look like lenstip samples, they lack sharpness and that 24 MP sensor seems to show even more noise than expected.
I seriously hope that there is a lot more detail in the images that can be revealed with a good RAW converter. The Nex-7 looks like a camera that I have the impression many wished mirrorless cameras should have been from the beginning.

IR has images

but I am not sure why they are only comparing it with FF models.

Well, they are comparing it with other 20+ MP cameras, which makes some sense IMO.
However, the samples overthere look very poor, too.

What? Should they have compared D90 with D700 since both are 12 MPs?
It doesn't make any "sense"
And what's 645D doing there? That's 40MP sensor.
They need to fix that page and put other APSC cameras on the page.

No, the studio shots, especially at lower ISOs, are fine.

The format to compare to is actually meaningless. The pricing must be the leading aspect.
