Hi,
I have a choice of buying Olympus 75 1.8 for my OM-D or the Nikkor AF-S 85 1.8 G for my D5100....as both serve the same purpose.
What will you buy?
thanks,
anurag
I would base my decision on 150mm vs 130mm! I like the 85mm on APS very much but for portraits I use 60mm much more often or I go for an 135mm instead! 150mm would be between those two and for me it would be fish nor flesh!
So I would vote for a 85 f1.8 or 60 f2 for the Nikon or the 45 f1.8 for the Olympus!
Well the oly is razor sharp wide open and apo; to my recollection the nikkor is mostly definitely not apo; but is apo worth 40% price increase ?

The Olympus is not an APO lens. Look at some sample images and you will certainly find some longitudinal CA. The Nikon lens is quite comparable yet is cheaper and offers the option of covering a larger format.
75 can be image stabilized
