That is nice! I hope you will not disregard your step, if the new NEX 7 with a 20 MPix sensor is coming. But I'm curious why do you get no NEX 5R if it for testing only?
About the 35F1.8 I read, that Sony has quality problems (like so often with lenses). The prototypes were much sharper than the production lenses. Maybe that is a good answer if somebody is pushing you again. He should what a half a year, so that Sony can fix there "normal" quality problems. :-)

You pushed yourself.
Who winged here about weak corners of the NEX 7? Who wrote here tons of enthusiastic NEX tests of funny lenses while outsourcing the µFT to someone else?

Hey Joachim, not bad blood. I think m43 is rally well served here. For example the 24F1.8 will not be reviewed, because of the insane price. I have the this lens, I really like what I get out, but for the NEX it's in the wrong price bracket. This decision is ok.
In my opinion every mirrorless system still has it's quirks(AF C, overpriced, to large etc.). And the retro or DSRL design is is not very engaging to me, so I chose NEX, which has a very clean design and is technology driven.
I really hope, that all this NEX trouble is not stopping you Klaus to be interested in the system.

I have one and I must admit that it's quite fun to play with legacy lenses.
MF is not really an issue with focus peaking on static subjects.
Here are a few with Zeiss Biogon G21/2.8;

I am curious why you chose the GH3 over the EM-5. On paper the difference I see is that the GH3 has (much?) better video; multi-aspect sensor and is quite a bit larger. The EM-5 has IS and is quite a bit smaller. Oh and the GH3 has an electronic shutter.
Ok well will be curious to your reaction when you receive it (for me it seemed a bit large; but I do like the idea of the electronic shutter and kind of wish olympus would drop the mechanical shutter).
