Forums > Back > Already autumn :(

Grrr, summer is over before it really started, it seems. Autumn is early... how sad.

This is an early autumn image (late in the day) from yesterday. 4 landscape images stitched. I really could use a super low rig to avoid parallax errors!

Is autumn also popping up with you guys? And what does it look like?

That is a nice formation of mushroom... which lens did you use there?

Well, this one was taken with a Tamron 180mm f/2.5 Adaptall-2 lens ...

(not to be confused with Tamrons 180/3.5 Macro) ...

the 180/2.5 is a quite rare lens, but a real pleasure to use ...

Some more info about it here: SP 180/2.5

What an interesting lens to have, Rainer. Sometime in future I will get a Canon 200mm f2.8 L USM myself.

Strange experiment... shooting the 35mm wide open (f2) in semi-macro close up ranges.

2 images stitched, that is why it has the square shape.

I am really liking the macro stitching. Nice images here. I will have to get out and try a few shots like this. The leaves are just beginning to show a little hint of changing here in Ravensburg. On the subject of mushrooms, I took this one a few weeks ago on Pfänder in Bregenz, Austria.

A very autumn-y atmosphere, I like it.

Yeah, since about a year ago I happened to start macro stitching out of nowhere, to get unusual view points. And I do like it... but parallax errors are hard to avoid, beware!
