I love Samyang! great optics good construction, great in your face FLs and apertures with minimal flare!

Awaiting my 14mm F2.8, could be my last new lens? in theory at least! 315 euros inc delivery.

C'est dang n'est pas?

Aperture control and body communication in Nikon/ Pentax to boot!

What on earth is a Nikon AE mount?

I thought that Nikon has an F mount.

AE stands for auto exposure. So, Nikon F-mount with electronic contacts and aperture control.

Looks like a non-starter for the Nikon mount, but could be interesting for the other full frame SLRs (Canon, Sony, *gasp* Pentax), since the equivalent Sigma is rather mediocre.

The "equivalent Sigma" is no longer in sale  Wink Hope you don't mind I'll stick with the 20/1.4 Art at double weight but no dusturnbing filter thread  Sad Filters are overrated anyway

Non starter for Nikon  because of the AF-S 20mm F1.8 at $800 or what?.....

The AF-20mm F2.8D is OK but the coma.Wowser!. Night views wide open! lights at the edge of the frame look like satellite dishes facing the center of the image

Coma is overrated, too. Maybe there are satellite dishes on these stars?

While I don't test it, it feels likely that almost all ultra-wides suffer from coma at max. aperture.
