I love how they always do the "AF following a subject across the frame". In reality, that is usually not how photography works (the photographer frames a shot... he or she really does that).
Not exactly sure what that dpreview blurp actually "shows".
Is it actually hard to perform a decent comparison test that does not compare nonsense, to actually show how cameras perform??
I've forgotten what review of the D80 I read that when testing tracking AF said that it's performed on a poor level compared with it's siblings!
Good as it is the Sony, Tony Northrup's/ TCS assessments showed it had weakness in the viewfinders's refresh rate as well as a tendency to lose focus for a while before catching up again.
For sport I think we are still...."Cheer Mirror-less.....shoot DSLR
I've seen a couple of this guys reviews, he is very competent and fair;
The Sony certainly shines against the Canon here, impressive indeed!
