I went to Italy (Lucca, in Tuscany) last week in a business trip.  Only camera I brought was on my phone and there were no Northern fall colours, but here are some nice colours from the trip:

Ah...  unfortunately Google Photos does not allow easy embedding of images (or embedding at all)...  sorry...

I would have totally agreed if it were a black and white photo

however the lively colors especially light reflections of the water shining in the other side  don't really go with loneliness, besides he is wearing sports shoes with some shiny green.

If I were to decide, either I convert to black and white or I Keep the colors and crop, in both cases you have very neat picture

Yes, your picture language is very classical and I try to break that a little bit but actually this picture is not one of my best. I simply shot it and other to test the lens. I found out that the lens must be tilted because I get everything sharp but not in one layer.

You can see it maybe in the following picture. If you use manual focus and look in the corners two opposite corners are equally sharp but the other two looks far apart. You can get every corner sharp so I think it is tilted and not decentered.

Autumn is almost over in Sweden, but here are some snapshots from Stockholm (31/10 2016).

thxbb12, They are nice images from a very nice place. I also like the 1st image, and wonder what is going on in that image with the "wall" in the water down the middle.

Wow, thanks for these, Florent. My vote for 5 and 9.

Allow me to ask: judging from the mountains in the background I browsed Google Maps and assume this is the 'Viaduc de la Jonction'? Is it still worth going there next week or are the colours already gone?

Hello everyone,

Thanks for all your posts and sorry for my late reply: I had a pretty hectic week.

I'm gonna catch up with the thread now :-)
