The new 100L macro?[/quote]

Already reviewed for full-frame. And the most bizzare thing is Klauss was not too impressed with the image quality.... flying in the face of almost every other review site on earth.

I am quite confident the 5 star review is for a lens from anything but Canon.

Not from what I have seen as samples from that lens...

But hey, you never know!

We do know it is not a Pentax lens... as Klaus is waiting still on his butchered K5 <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

The slaughtering is currently starting. I just got the call.

What was the price for that? Will you show before and after shots?

Oh surely the lens has at least one flaw <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Hum what lens is perfect. I bet it has more than 5 elements <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

We wasn't sure yet but nothing "extreme" (depending how you look at it). I reckon around 500EUR.

No sure regarding the sample - there's a local fellow with a "stock" K5. Maybe I will ask him.

It will probably be Pentax's new DA 35.

Hmm... CO 60mm f/4 UV-VIS-IR deserves 5 stars... 1 for each element of CaF2 and 1 for the lens <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

It isn't flawless, of course. Just closer than most. And it has 9 elements.
