Forums > Back > 12 grams camera with exchangeable lenses

Fun(ny) SLR styling makes it strangely interesting.

Weirdly enough, the article mentions "Windows only" connection via USB, which would be rather strange. The more since the photo does show the camera connected to a Mac.

Cute.

Manufacturer's page here with samples.

Images are really horrific, like they're been upscaled, badly, from a low resolution source. I would have to suspect it was 640x480 upscaled. And the video is full of jelly too.

I'd still get one if I can find somewhere that wont shaft me to import it.

Edit: this looks very similar but much cheaper!

OMG!... they should also sell a weather sealed camera bag with it... Oh wait, there's only one buckle on the body (body!!!?)... So I think one can hook it on a split ring with the keys and carry it in his/her pocket! Who says that DSLRs are bulky...

Am holding out for a clip-on battery pack and an autofocusing F0.8 prime lens for this unit.

It's definitely 640x480 upscaled, furthermore I'd even say that the original images were 256 colours only and after upscaling (Lanczos probably?) some sort of noise reduction was applied and then saved as jpegs with really aggressive compression ratio <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

You know you have to get one of these, then on a photo outing, find the guy with the biggest lens and use it next to them. That alone has to be worth it... optionally remark about sizes being inversely proportional to something else...

LOL... + you take a foto of the same guy by showing him your weapon of choice. But then you'll definetly have problems with showing him/her the picture you took on the LCD screen.
