I presume it's “the more you zoom in”... And it's a shame that we have to see decentering issues also with Sony products...

Yeah, the last part has gone missing. In any case I think the Sigma or the Tamron are a better choice anyway, unless you need the absolute smallest lens (though I'm sure someone will make an ultra tiny f/4.5-5.6 UWA in the vein of Canon's, sometime).

I agree. I'm keeping an eye on those lenses since, while I'm perfectly fine with the SEL1018, sooner or later I could replace it. At the moment it makes more sense to have one faster stop rather than 2 mm more overlapping with the 18-50mm.
