Like, someone is looking for a long (105+) macro for FF nikon, genotypewriter can't help it: "since the 65mm MP-E is not on nikon",
How was it ok for Nikon guys to bring up the 14-24 in every conversation until Canon showed up with the TS-E 17, TS-E 24 and the 24L II? Or the 70-200 VR II until the 70-200 IS II came out? Or for 35 years claim that no one needs a 24 1.4 until the 24 1.4G came out? That's just in the "FX" era, mind you... <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Markus enjoying the 200mm f/2 VR, genotypewriter: "Canon 200 f/2L IS is lighter, better, has a killer IS, etc", then 24mm 1.4, another about Canon's 200-400mm Extender 1.4x, etc, etc. Nothing's new here either <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Hello! We're in one of the most popular websites on the internet for comparing lenses (well done Klaus and Marcus!)... why is it wrong for a user in its discussion board to compare lenses? <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Sorry GTW, but what you've stated here is a clear example for the definition of the expression "Canon guy"... (rather than "Canon user"). How come is this something like a football match for you... You're still out of context... Please find these "Nikon guys" wherever they are and show them what they deserve...

Ahh, I see - hurt feelings, somewhere at the dpreview forums maybe? And you're out for revenge here now <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Please, tell me that it's not childish.

Yup, you know exactly what I mean - starting with "nikon buffs know nothing about technique" and ending with "blood shed and open fires rising from the Nikon camp". While at the same time accusing Chuck Norris Ken Rockwell et al being strongly opinionated. You know, pot, kettle, doesn't ring a bell?

I know that you work real hard to prove everyone (yourself included) that canon bests nikon in every single area, the latest 35mm f/1.4 being a good example, but apart of gaining the title of Chuck Norris jr, I'm not really sure what else you're going to achieve <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

FYI most of my clashes were in the Olympus and Sony forums where the biggest fanboys are... FourThirds people just refuse to understand equivalence and Sony boys are trying to convert everyone to the Church of Zeiss. And once you finally start to write my biography, 'Anti-photography Photographer', I'll give you some more information <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Actually I said "... Zeiss or Nikon buffs..." plus I already answered your question below:

That's a completely wrong thing to say. Chuck Norris at least studied enough physics to know what gravity is.

Mmm, so my guess was pretty much correct after all - you *are* referring to dpreview forums. You see, I'm not implying that you're "Anti-photography Photographer" in any way, you're without a doubt very much "Canon-photography Photographer". I'm just saying that for whatever reason you find it difficult to separate dpreview and photozone forums and you bring full measure of their holy war into this forum, while in my understanding, most of photozone users try not to do that. Of course, I might be completely wrong <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

P.s. Chuck Norris defies gravity with his roundhouse kick, why would he need to study physics?

You did not start it <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

GTW is an Ozzie who likes to get carried away and provoke, and boridBG is exactly what he likes to accuse me of, a brand fan guy. He started the blahblah about all lenses at major sports events having turned black, something that is nonsensical so I proved what is reality.

Lets just wait and see what the next full frame offerings from Canon, Nikon and maybe even Sony will be like!

Funny enough I'm more curious about Sony's plans than about others. For instance, the fact that you can get a 24mpix FF system (A850 + Tamron 28-75mm) for less than 1,500 eur is amazing. I mean, Canon vs Nikon battle is a bit boring sometimes, you have to look into other manufacturers for more entertainment <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

And read them. I first talked about what might be, concerning Nikon and Canon sensors.

Then I was rather factual about the D300 (and 40D).

I then also reacted to your blahblah (remember? How all tele lenses used by sport photographers at main events were all black).

It is fine to post. It is even fine to blahblah like you did, just expect factual replies proving that you were blahblahing.

Now anything to add about a D700 follow up or other predictions?
