The 11-18 and 16-105 are rather mediocre. And rest assured that the upcoming two Sony reviews will not be quite as impressive.





Those slow speed primes are a smart move actually. They're doomed to be good - regardless of the manufacturer.

Any hints? Will it be a zoom or a prime? Maybe you are testing the new E-Mount 24mm F1.7. ;-)

Except when it comes to CA... Sony just took an easy way out to satisfy the P&S a.k.a. SLT market, instead of making a well-corrected lens when they had the chance.

Any speculation on how this lens would perform on a FF ? I guess vignetting might be an issue @ 2.8; how about borders ?
