Manual centering control ... I thought it would exist anymore these days.

Makes you wonder though whether it is applied to all lenses or just the extreme aperture variants (where it is most critical, of course).

Would you then say you value manual centering checks over automated ones?

Without further thinking, I'd be tempted to think automated ones could actually do better in QC given strict thresholds and super hi-tech machines.



But yes, one of the appeal of this lens to me is that it feels "genuine" old school.
