I still have the Leica 14-150, oly 12-60 + 50-200 sitting on my desk. I am waiting for a price decrease of the E5 actually. Till then I will use the Gh2 with adapter. The Leica has a very decent AF speed here. It's a borderline thing for the two Olys. Maybe I will get the Oly 7-14. I just don't need high ISO or more than 12mp. I need quality.

What the GH2 has over the E5 is that it offers 3:2 format, something I do want from a DSLR... I just can not find the 4:3 format visually attractive.
Further, 4/3rds is not for everyone, because of the relatively limited shallow DOF possibilities.
A shame the two Olympus lenses do not focus any faster for you.. at least the more bulky E5 will add IS to the Oly-lens mix.

Yep, it also a mystery why Oly hasn't integrated the multi-format sensor into their MFTs. Same goes for the "plain" Panasonic Gs.
It's actually quite nice to be able to choose between 16:9, 3:2 for horizontal setups and 4:3 for vertical ones.

Probably because of marketing considerations.

Very easy answer. Panasonic refused to sell Oly the the multi-aspect sensor used in GH1/GH2.

At the end it is a question of money only.
Frankly Oly could also take an APS-C sensor and sell it as multi-format 4/3.

Hmm, taking a 16 MP APS-C sensor from Sony to use it as 4/3 sensor would give you a usable area of just 10 MPs, which is hardly competitive these days.
Concerning Panas multi-aspect sensors we don´t know about eventual contractual agreements between Oly and Pana. It is also possible that some aspects of the multi-aspect sensor concept as it is used by Pana represents patent-protected intellectual property. Regardless, in terms of marketing both companies, Oly and Pana, leave a lot to be desired.
