I've just tested a DA*.

But to answer this from a global perspective. Just like for Canon and Nikon we'll provide a couple of reference re-tests on the new platform. However, the priority is on new lenses. Frankly neither the 70/2.4 nor the upcoming 40/2.8 tests indicate a qualitative difference between the K10D- and the K5-based tests.

Klaus, let me know if you want a DA 15 ltd, I'd be glad to send you mine. I also have some more if you're interested: DA 12-24, DA 55-300, Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5, FA 35 f/2 and D-FA 100 macro (non WR). If Pentax was able to produce these almost perfect pencakes for other mounts (mFT, NEX) they would probably earn a fortune. At least I would buy all of them ...

Any chance you'll be able to test the latest version of the 18-55 kit lens on the K-5? It would be nice to be able to make direct comparisons against the Nikon kit lens you just tested with the D7000.

The test of the 18-55WR is basically ready for publishing. I only need some time for organizing my life after having returned from vacation yesterday night.

A few nice shots I guess. We did scuba diving during the 2nd week so photography was no priority here.
