Hi!
I am wondering whether anybody has first hand experience with the Sony 12-24mm lens? Anybody who owned Nikon 12-24mm or used Canon's 11-22mm wide angle lenses and can compare them to Sony's 12-24mm wide angle lens?

I've used the Canon for quite some time (on both a Canon 5DSR and A7) and soon I'll handle the Sony (still a few months until I can buy one).
For me there is no competition. I absolutely love the field of view and I'd love to have it as a daily lens, out on the street. You can't with Canon because the damn thing weighs more than 1kg. Technical image quality seems to be on par and I'm not going to split hairs there. So it's cheaper, much smaller and MUCH lighter? Yeah, I'm getting one as soon as I can.
I'm even considering selling my Batis 25/2 and Zony 16-35/4 for the funds.
