Maybe judging the bokeh character of a 2010 lens by looking at images from a 1975 design might not be the optimal way to go about things?

From what I have seen (image wise), the Zeiss renders quite nicely for a 35mm lens on SLR. Which is the reason I am interested in it, even though it is a heavy beast and it is rather expensive.
