I got my K-01 now for 3.5 months and since then I have taken 1500 pictures with it, and less than 20 with my beloved K-x. Image quality is great; focus accuracy is great, and focus peaking opens a new world when e.g. doing macro. Add to that an excellent battery, and you forgive the slower AF (much improved by updated firmware but not a match) and some ergonomic quirks. For 350 EUR it is/was a bargain, especially for those that already own Pentax lenses. (To others I would say: add that cheap 35mm f/2.4).
But I would not have bought it at the original price, which was twice as much. And the slow autofocus of firmware 1.0, the one that was reviewed by almost all sources, would not have convinced me either.
